National November Writing Month

November.  It’s going to be a busy month, already booked with appointments and events. But it also promises to be exciting.

Notably, National November Writing Month #NaNoWriMo2019 brings with it the opportunity to feed off the mind waves of thousands of frenzied writers. While registered Nanos are madly striving for 1666.6 words per day, the rest of us can select more modest goals. Throughout the month, I’ll be tweeting my own less-than-committed efforts on Twitter.

As well, I’m promoting my latest book, Bloodline Feather, with forums, library readings and a book giveaway.

Creekside Chats Forum

Forums. Titled Creekside Chats, they invite readers and writers to share thoughts on Creekside books or on writing in general.

There are four forums at this point, each with three topics. Stop by to engage in one or more of the topics.

Let’s Chat

Bells of Prosper Station

Bells of Prosper Station   • Good and Evil, Medicine in Victorian times…and today, Wealth versus Poverty

Black Springs Abbey

Black Springs Abbey • Addictions, Community, The Abbey

BloodlineFeather

Bloodline Feather • Magic in everyday life, Travel, Relationships

Creekside Library

Writing Day-by-day • NaNoWriMo, Motivation and Work Habits, Writing Goals

Library Readings. I love library meet-and-greets. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and the people in attendance are committed book fans.

The two remaining library events on my schedule are: November 22 1:00 p.m. at Sarnia Library and November 29 2:00 p.m. at Petrolia Library.

Bloodline Feather Giveaway. Late last month, I participated in a Goodreads Giveaway promotion. The response was amazing, and I’ll be mailing out copies of Bloodline Feather to the winners this week.

Lest We Forget

Have a productive November, everyone.
