Yes, I’m still here – mulling over and editing material for Kevin’s book, Living in the Eye.
Somehow I hadn’t anticipated that editing this manuscript would be so time-consuming. After all, we have access to all the material in the previous book, The Road Trip: Life with Autism. Then there’s the journaling from our 2014 trip to the Atlantic Provinces. Plus the poetry Kevin’s written over the years.
But here it is already the end of July and I seem to be mired in details.
I must acknowledge that launching Black Springs Abbey in its tête-bêche form did occupy some considerable time in the spring. And even now, with our participation in the Oil Springs 150th Anniversary celebrations mostly finished, Bob McCarthy and I still have some planned events.
Upcoming events for the tête-bêche, Black Springs Abbey and Early Days in Oil Springs:
Sunday, August 2, 2:00 p.m., Lambton County Heritage Museum – Ignite Lambton
Thursday, October 15, 11:00 a.m., Petrolia Library – PowerPoint and book signing
Monday, October 26, 1:30 p.m., Watford Library – PowerPoint and book signing
Wednesday, November 18, 1:30 p.m., Wyoming Library – PowerPoint and book signing
Wednesday, November 18, 7:00 p.m., Courtright Library – PowerPoint and book signing
To be announced – Brights Grove Library – PowerPoint and book signing
All in all, I LOVE being a writer! ???
